This 6 in chef utility knife has a forged Damascus blade with a VG10 steel core, rated at HRC 58-60 hardness. The edge is ground to 8-12 degrees per side and finished by hand, and a hammered texture near the base of the blade is meant to reduce food sticking to the steel during everyday cutting.

The handle is made of G10 and has been specially treated. The knife comes with a sheath and a case to keep the blade covered and secure when it is stored.
