My new office chair
The chair itself is fine. My only complaint is that the arm rests are too low and don't provide any support to my arms while sitting. Otherwise, I'm 5'9 225 lb and fit in it just fine. I noticed many people were wondering if they could put wheels on this. Here's the screw size of the feet if you want to screw some in: M8-1.25 (metric). It's about 1.5 inches long. Can you get wheels that just screw in to replace the feet? Technically yes, but they all seem to be commercial grade. The ones I tried suck because they are not meant for indoor furniture like recliners.
Pretty good for the price especially for a small space
The bottom (seat) and recliner mechanism was flopping around in the box when I opened it. There were a couple of holes in the box. 3 of the mounting screws came loose and were in the box. One screw remained attached but got bent really badly. I straightened it out and mounted everything. The chair is really comfortable and perfect for my small space. It is easy to recline and to get out of. It is a little narrow but works for me. I am 6’ 225. No issues at all. I am pleased so far.
Great deal for the price!
I was looking for an inexpensive recliner since I have two cats that are not declawed and no matter what I do to try to protect furniture, they manage to at the very least to do some damage with their claws, even furniture that I've covered with slipcovers and EVEN furniture that I've put double sided tape on and/or plastic furniture guards. They somehow manage to get their claws into the furniture. So, when I was looking for a recliner, I wasn't especially looking for one that had a synthetic leather as they can damage that as well.
Beautiful
It's really beautiful. I put it together myself and it did not take that long. I have not yet sat on it yet as I want to change first but I wanted to write now to mention some things that I learned that may be helpful. First, I'm not sure why alot of reviews say these chairs are really small. They are not. It looks totally of average size with plenty enough room to be comfortable. No, it's not huge but to me it's great. I just love the red color. I want to see if the chairs are different with or without the messager.
Small recliner that works well for small places
I ordered this recliner to replace my larger recliner that was in our TV room. My big recliner was old and took up a lot of space in the small room. Also, the foot rest had broken and would not go all the way up so I wanted to replace it. I have arthritis of the spine and need to elevate my legs at certain times and since the foot rest would only go up part way, I decided to purchase a new recliner. I wanted something small and compact and this chair had a lot of positive reviews.
Good little recliners
No tools required. Put together in 5 minutes. These chairs are small which is what I wanted for my man cave. They have decent comfort. We are going to buy 2 more for our rv. The price is great.
